Grandma and her grandsons. How sweet are they all! These boys were such troopers as we trekked through a local park. Big brother was great at showing the ropes to his little brother. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my morning!
My extra late into 2016 resolution is to get better about sharing my sessions on the website blog 😉 I have at least a dozen sessions that I’ve completely forgotten to share on here! There is time for that later, for now, I had to talk about one of my favorite Senior sessions to date. One of the perks of having your cousin take your Senior portraits is that you can combine it with an already planned vacation! While in Ely, MN, we visited a family member’s cabin for some shots, and then hiked out to view the Kawishiwi River and falls. The view was amazing! Not everyone gets to have this kind of a backdrop! Big shout out to Jared for being so willing to take photos in the middle of the wilderness chaos. It might have been a little too much “nature-ing” for me, but the final product was more than worth it!
Over the weekend I went on a road trip to visit family in North Dakota. We made a stop at a different exit than we normally do in Fergus Falls, MN and discovered an egret bird nesting hotspot!
I stepped up to the edge of the water to get as close as I could. These birds make such a unique sound, I swear it almost sounded like they were growling.
These are the times I’m glad I have my camera with me. I have never seen something like this before!
